At home, when it was time to cook, I washed the meat under running water as usual. Suddenly, I noticed something strange: amidst the fibers, a hard, unusual object was shining. At first, I thought it was simply a small piece of bone or tendon, as sometimes happens. But when I took the knife and cut deeper, I realized it was definitely not natural.

I removed a small metallic object from the piece of meat. It looked like a mini sensor or chip—some kind of tracking device. At that moment, I was literally paralyzed by the shock.
I immediately imagined what might have happened if we hadn't noticed that object and had prepared the meat. The presence of a foreign object in food is absolutely unacceptable and can pose a serious health risk. Furthermore, such objects may contain materials unsafe for food contact.
Once I'd calmed down a bit, I started searching for information online. It turned out that some farms and large operations use these sensors to track animals: to know where they are, monitor their health, or track transport conditions. But, as I learned, these devices must be removed during the processing stage and should never end up in products sold to consumers.

How that piece of machinery ended up in the meat, I never understood. Perhaps it was an accident, or negligence during production. In any case, such situations highlight the importance of paying attention to food products.
From now on, I always carefully examine meat and other products before cooking. Even if I buy them from a reliable source, I don't rely solely on trust — the safety of my family comes first.
I want to warn everyone reading this story: only buy meat and other products from reputable stores where you can be sure of the quality and origin of the goods. Always check them before cooking. It only takes a few minutes, but it can protect you and your loved ones from unpleasant or even dangerous situations.
Take care of yourself and your family — health should always come first.
