On May 20, Indian businessman Raja Raghuvanshi departed on his honeymoon with his new wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi. Their chosen destination: Shillong, in the state of Meghalaya, known for its bucolic landscapes and romantic atmosphere. But a deadly conspiracy lurked behind this celebratory trip.

Just days after their arrival, the couple simply vanished. The news began to circulate quietly among family and friends, while local police struggled to find them due to the dense fog and constant rain in the mountainous region. Only after days of searching was Raja's body found in an advanced state of decomposition in a remote canyon, without identification, without his wedding ring, and with clear signs of violence.

At the time, there seemed to be only one person responsible for the tragedy: Raj Kushwaha, Sonam's alleged lover. Initially, everything pointed to him having orchestrated the murder out of jealousy. However, the investigation would soon take a surprising and even more sinister turn.
